REFLECTION ABOUT BUSINESS AND YOUR LIFE

Refuse to ride on the windowless train. Be sure of where you are heading to in life and for whatever career you have chosen to pursue. Riding a windowless train is like going about life blindly. Then by the time you realize it your questions will be where am I? Where am I heading to? What’s is this travel about?
Take time during your business journey, as a believer, to connect with your spiritual source., have a session of prayer and meditation time. Read the word. Say like David they word have I hidden in my heart that I may not sin again you.
Another lesson to learn and learn it intentionally is a lesson about failure.
Better Way To Handle Failure
For any business person, be you a beginner or great enterprenuers, life is about taking risks and also is business. You never know what will work for you unless you try it. And trying to do something with no guarantee for the actual result is a risk-taking. That’s why insurance agents and people who deal with stock are risk-takers. In whatever we do, we should bear in mind that failure and mistakes both costly and minor ones are inevitable in life and business. What matters is a person’s ability to learn from any setback in life and keep pushing through those obstacles until you reach your promised land aka successful end!
Some Insights and Tips on Handling Success/Failures
Every position in life can create its own fear. We feel uncomfortable with failure, poverty, illness, and so forth. When we are succeeding or climbing up in our career, business, or leadership, the responsibilities that come with success also create some kind of anxiety, stress, and tensions in our hearts, even though we try to mask our fears and phobias, right inside they are active. But you got to chose, just like one man who said that he has tasted poverty and riches, that he will better be stuck with riches. Chose to succeed no matter what. My goal is to encourage you, motivate, and advise you and by providing you the insights and words of knowledge to help you as you continue to build your business and your life.
Never dwell in your periods of setbacks, slowness when it seems that nothing good is happening even with your best efforts. Don’t feel down. Pick up courage, distract yourself from focusing on the negative pictures alone. Keep taking actions, and reviewing things in line with the trend of things presently both in your personal life and business. Maybe there are things that really require paying close attention to.
In the same way, Learn to celebrate your small or big victories, whatever that looks like for you. I think I still owe myself some debt of praise on this. Because at a stage around the month of March, I almost throw in the towel, because it was as if I found myself between a rock and a hard place. Feeling overwhelmed about some family issues. Coupled with that was the challenge of building my website with no technical skill. I was wasting days and weeks, trying to learn how to make my website to become alive or functional.
Even though it is something that takes computer savvy people a few hours, or the latest a day to accomplish, it took me about 2 months before I could publish my website. But thank God that I did not give up.
But taking such victory for granted is not a good reinforcement for a good habits. Every achievement requires persistence, consistent actions. Therefore, learn to celebrate those moments with a friend, or a family member who understands what you’re going through or what you’ve been through it will serve to you as a reminder and a booster along the line.
Resisting The Success Fear
Don’t allow the success-phobia to get hold of your feelings. Instead tell yourself, that there is enough space for everyone in life to pursue his or her dream.
To keep lubricating your courage muscles, speak loud to yourself and circumstances,
Tell yourself that you’re ready for a change.
That you have the potentials needed to achieve your dreams.
That your life is meant to behave the best there is and for you to be the best that you can.
Tell yourself that you’re giving your life the permission to live a life with meaning and purpose.
Living a Reflective life is a choice, but it is a good choice for that matter, because it brings your heart to a place of stillness, a place of soberness, to count your blessings, to take time to express your gratitude for all you’re blessed with. It is a time to count your blessings, to be appreciative of the grace of God in your life, business, and family. Remembering that it is the Lord that gives us the power to make wealth. The air we breathe every second, the sunshine, the rain, we’re not paying for any. Moments of silence during the day, brings all these realities close to your heart. But if we allow such precious moments to pass because we are scheduled up from Monday to Sunday, month to month, and year to year for some people, we are not helping ourselves, mostly our spiritual life.
Choose Your Speed LIMIT
Why do we need to slow down or schedule out time for reflection? The reason is that the busyness of life can choke out your spiritual, and emotional power if you are not careful to nourish them.
During the time of serious setbacks, disappointments, failures, illness, losses, problems in the family and other relationships, reflect upon the lessons to learn from such experiences. Learn from them, and pray for the grace and wisdom to improve where necessary. Forgive where there are hurts and offenses.
Pay attention to these following areas of your life’s feelings whether they are negative or positive.
Pay attention to physical symptoms, such as feeling easily tired, cold, hot, weak, or energetic, calm, relax, because our body will always have its way of sending us a message of what is going on. Shake your body, and ask your self why the feelings?
Likewise, pay attention to your emotional feelings. Do not ignore them, mostly if they are persistent for a long time. Check for sadness with no apparent cause, confusion, frustration, lack of concentration. We all go through levels of mood swings at some point, but when it becomes chronic and demobilizing, we need to stop and seek a remedy. You can as well be feeling excitement, peace, happy, calm, and relaxed, these are all signals that our emotional life is communicating based on how well it has been taken care of. In your reflections track your mood, ask yourself, why are you feeling any of the feelings you are having.
“He who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe,
is as good as dead; his eyes are closed’. — Albert Einstein
Hello there! This is an awesome article you’ve got here. Indeed success comes with a whole lot and if one isn’t careful enough, he can miss the step.
Ive actually learnt a lot from this article especially the fact that dwelling/ focusing on your failures will only stop you from taking the next step to achieving something better. Thanks for sharing!
godspower, thank you very much, for visiting my site, and for your kind comment. You made a very important good input when said that success can be missed when it is not dressed with a particular attire (just paraphrasing) we are expecting.
I believe that it is important for us to learn to celebrate our efforts, the little progress we make as we continue to develop and acquire new knowledge, ideas, and skills, the process of the journey is as important as the destination. What makes success enjoyable for most people is the process of achieving success, the obstacles, and the challenges they overcame before they achieve their breakthroughs.
Thanks for that input. I really appreciate
Hope you stop by again.

You’re very correct, Paying attention to our emotional feelings is very important. Because once our mental, physical, or emotional vitality dries up by fear, anxiety, anger, frustration, guilt, and shame, and that can affect anybody’s overall performance and hinder progress as a result. We just have to be proactive instead of being reactive, by listening, reflecting, meditating, praying, and nourishing our minds.
I really appreciate your comment! I hope you check back from time to time.

I love all the positivity you’re bringing. It’s important to keep people motivated and to teach them that failure is not bad and may create future success. Keeping the mindset that everyone can succeed has brought you here and will take so many far in life so they can enjoy everything in life without stressing about everyday things.
Ahwww, erich2000, thanks so much for your very kind comment about my article. I know that it is not easy to be self-employed. It requires a lot of discipline, and hard work also with the right mind-set. Once one is aware of himself, his and what is required of him or her then with diligence success will come at the right time.
Thanks, wishing you good success, and hope you visit again.
Fear of failure exists in anyone of us. We behave differently to that. You have pointed a few key concerns that cause this to happen which are valid points.
If we treat failure as a lesson learn so that we can progress further than it will be better managed. I love this reminder. When we are starting to learn how to walk, we will fall. However, it never stops us from learning to walk and eventually to be able to run.
Thank you for sharing ways to overcome this and have a better understanding of this topic. Marc
Thanks so much, Marck Ho, for your valuable comment and input. You’re very correct, fear of failure exists in everyone, fear exists in business people, politicians, athletes, relationships, nobody is immune from it. But we can fear the fear and still find the courage to do what needs to be done. Likewise, there is also fear of success because of the responsibilities it brings. But don’t be afraid of success, just pray to succeed, and then we can talk about the fears, and stress success brings in the near future How about that? Lol,
Thanks once again, wishing you bold courageous steps, and good success!
Hi Jimi Hendrix, this is an awesome content you have got here. Life is indeed filled with lots of challenges. But one needs to focus on success areas to build on. We all have the power to choose, Rather than settling for less we should always opt to achieve more. Self motivation/encouragement and positive affirmation is Paramount to keep rising.
Thanks for sharing this with me.
Awinikistie, thanks very much, for your excellent input on the topic. Absolutely, we all have the power of choice, but the problem is on what we decide to choose. If we can choose success over mediocrity, courage over fear, love over hate, action over inaction, and learning over ignorance, freedom over bondage then our life will be filled with meaning, because we are living to attribute value to other people’s life directly or indirectly. These are good choices to make.
Once we are sure of who we are, what we are doing and the direction of our lives and business, we are bound to succeed, even if we stumble we will rise and continue because we have the inner conviction that we are at the right path.
Once again that’s, for your valuable comments, hope you visit again.
