While some training like Wealthy Affiliate teaches how to make money with affiliate marketing using free traffic, the SAS course is about paid traffic using funnels.
And here is how it works in practicality:

And that is not all your extra expenses because you also need to spend your hard-earned cost on paid ads with Google, Facebook, Youtube, etc. In this where you will expend most of your budget if you want to be successful.
Keep in mind, traffic is a lifeblood of any online business. And as I said earlier, without traffic there is no money to be made.
So add your advertising budget (at least $1000 per month to be realistic) to your ClickFunnel fee and your SAS course fee to see how much you need to get started with the SAS.
