This is that special time of the year that everyone wishes to see, mostly Christians. Regardless of the attacks on Christianity right from the beginning, still, the joy of Christmas and the spirit never diminished. I read the story about the wise men who followed the star that led them to where the baby Jesus was born. It is amazing that till today, wise men still seek Him and worship Him.
What an amazing adventure. Here is how it is recorded in Mathew 2:10-11(NKJV) “When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, the saw the young Child with Mary his mother, and fell down and worshipped Him.” This is so powerful! It is wise to seek for Jesus and to worship Him. For He is not one of the old prophets, He is the only son of God, who came to earth to live and die to save man from sin.
What a marvelous experience, and a gift to the whole world that Jesus the Son of God was born completely human and yet completely God. This is a miracle that has mesmerized us, humans. It remains a mystery beyond human knowledge and understanding.
All I can say is this, rather than trying to argue, doubt, distort the facts, or try to figure it out, why can’t we do as the men did. They intentionally without wavering followed the spectacular star to where it led them to, and as soon as they found it was the baby Jesus, they humbled themselves and bowed down and worshiped Him, the newborn king. Till today wise men still seek Him. They still want to learn about His ways. Wisdom to Live the Best Life
Today, as we celebrate the birth of the savior of the world, let us praise and worship Him. Let us rejoice, and open our hearts to Him.
May we use this period to reflect on the love of God for humanity, and ask ourselves if we have been able to reciprocate such love.
Merry Christmas everyone!
